Growing up in a traditional Chinese family, competitive swimming wasn’t just a sport—it was a way of life. At just 8 years old, I was sent to a swim coach to learn the fundamentals.
By age 10, I was representing my state (WP), and the training became intense.
My days started at 5 AM—in the pool by 5:30 AM, swimming until 6:30 AM, then rushing to school by 7:15 AM. After classes, it was back to the pool from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, covering 4-5 km daily, five days a week. The discipline, endurance, and resilience I developed during those years stayed with me long after I left competitive swimming.
Now, in my 50s, I’ve channeled that same dedication into helping adults regain fitness through water-based exercises. As an aquatic fitness coach, I
specialize in guiding women over 50 to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence in the pool. Many of my clients are amazed at what they can achieve—whether it’s mastering aqua exercises, reducing joint pain, or simply moving with ease in daily life.
Water is a powerful healer, and I love witnessing those “I never thought I could do this!” moments. Whether it’s improving flexibility, easing arthritis discomfort, or just finding joy in movement, my mission is to help others discover the transformative power of swimming and aquatic fitness—at any age.
